• Reduce your sedentary lifestyle.

Quit what provides Demodex with extra  food (oil): 

• Avoid excessive consumption of greasy, fried, or fast food
• Stop using sunscreen, creams and lotions, and other greasy cosmetics.
• When your skin is dirty, clean it with a suitable non-soap cleanser.

Break the habits that pass Demodex to others:

• Do not share your personal items, such as combs and towels, with others
• Do not use other people’s items.
• Wash towels, combs, sheets, pillows, and other accessories that regularly contact the skin.
• Do not expose your skin to surfaces that directly contact people’s skin and hair, such as a hairdressing chair.

Prevent Demodex Mites in the Immediate Environment 

Demodex can survive outside the human body for hours to days. This period depends mainly on the oil present around them. That means the more food available to them, the longer it lasts. Such surfaces like towels, pillows and combs can accumulate numerous Demodex mites and pass them on to other family members. In addition, re-transferring these environmental mites to the same contagious person can slow down the healing process. To prevent Demodex in the immediate environment, consider one or more of the following:

• Spray a small amount of PROCUTiN on the surfaces that come in direct contact.
• Wash your fabrics and personal items on a regular basis.
• Leave them for 72 hours before reusing them.
• Leave fabrics, sheets, and pillowcases under the sun for a few hours a day to kill the Demodex on it.

Final Tips:

• Always wash your skin with warm water and finish it with cold water.
• Keep PROCUTiN in its original bottle and away from incompatible substances.
• Avoid other skincare products and cosmetics during the treatment, or use them in the morning if necessary.
• Avoid colouring your hair during the treatment period.
• Excessive use of cleansers will damage your skin barrier and provide good conditions for Demodex to grow.
• If your skin is dry, you can use a small amount of extra-organic cold-press extracted coconut oil. This oil does not nourish Demodex.
• Apply PROCUTiN at night. Because at this time, the mites climb up to the surface.
• Shake the bottle before use.
• Use detergents only if the skin is dirty. Most soaps and shampoos feed Demodex.
• When your skin is clean, just wash and massage it with plain water and finally rinse with cold water.
• Use PROCUTiN on damp skin and scalp.
• This product can be applied to all parts of the skin.
