How to Use
– DHT Tonic:
DHT helps control Demodex mite density on the scalp while soothing itchy or irritated skin and supporting hair growth. For optimal results, use alongside Ozidex Procutin sprays.
How to Use DHT:
1. Shake well before each use.
2. Apply to a damp scalp.
3. Spray evenly and massage with clean fingertips in an up-and-down motion.
4. Do not rinse.
Note: DHT is optional in the ‘Ungex Care Plan.’ It is recommended for night use but can also be applied in the morning for severe hair loss with guidance from a Demodex consultant.
– Procutin:
Procutin effectively eliminates Demodex mites from the skin, fabrics, and other surfaces, helping to reduce issues like rosacea, dandruff, dermatitis, pruritus, hair loss, and acne. Regular application prevents cross-transfer of Demodex mites.
How to Use Procutin:
1. Dampen the skin.
2. Spray a small amount on the affected area.
3. Do not rinse.
Note: Procutin can be used on all skin areas. A small amount is effective.
Diluting Procutin for Sensitive Skin:
Procutin is generally gentle, but for sensitive skin, dilute as follows:
– 1st week: 20% Procutin, 80% water
– 2nd week: 40% Procutin, 60% water
– 3rd week: 70% Procutin, 30% water
– 4th week: Full strength
Hint: If your skin is less sensitive, start with a 50/50 mix and gradually increase strength.
Die-off Reaction:
A die-off reaction, or “healing reaction,” may occur as Demodex mites die, temporarily worsening symptoms. This is a normal sign that the product is working.
Other Uses for Procutin: Procutin also eliminates other mites, insects, mosquitoes, flies, and pests. Its use is not limited to Demodex removal.
